Courier Partner Choice & Liability Notice

India2Doors acts strictly as a facilitator and mediator for inspection, local sourcing, and packaging services. Customers retain full authority to select their preferred third-party courier partner (e.g., DHL, FedEx, Aramex, India Post) for international transit. Once the package is inspected, packed, and handed over to the chosen carrier, the courier agency is solely responsible for transit timelines, damages, loss, or misplacement. We assist customers in filing courier claims and providing shipment documentation where applicable.

Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy

To ensure smooth international customs clearance and avoid parcel confiscation, please review what can and cannot be shipped via India2Doors.

1. Strictly Prohibited Items

These items will be rejected immediately upon receipt.

  • Flammables & Aerosols: Perfumes, body sprays, deodorants, nail polish, sanitizers, and lighter fluid.
  • Batteries & Power Banks: Standalone lithium-ion batteries, loose laptop batteries, and power banks.
  • Perishable Fresh Food: Homemade cooked meals, fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, and liquid dairy (curd, milk, paneer).
  • Medicines & Drugs: Prescription medications without valid certified doctor notes, habit-forming drugs, and tobacco/vapes.
  • Valuables & Currency: Physical cash (INR or foreign notes), bullion, raw gold/silver coins, and active financial cards.

2. Restricted / Special Packaging

Allowed ONLY with certified commercial packaging.

  • Pickles & Pastes: Must be commercially sealed in vacuum packs or leak-proof tin/plastic jars with heat-sealed foil. (Loose homemade plastic bags are not accepted).
  • Ghee & Cooking Oils: Maximum 1–2 kg per parcel, factory-sealed in tin containers only.
  • Sweets & Snacks: Must be dry, factory-sealed, with printed ingredient labels. Liquids like syrup-filled sweets are prohibited.
  • Ayurvedic & Herbal Cosmetics: Must be non-hazardous, commercially packed with complete ingredient lists printed.
  • Special Destination Rules: Countries like Australia and New Zealand enforce strict biosecurity checks on seeds, wooden goods, and plant products.
Important Notice: India2Doors reserves the right to open, inspect, and reject any parcel that violates international air cargo security rules or customs laws. If prohibited items are received at our locker address, disposal or return shipping fees within India will be charged to the client.
